You have your main meals sorted and feel pretty confident you are eating well. Your problem is snacking. What to eat? When to eat? Where do you go with this?

It’s important you are feeding your body well, and part of your daily routine should include snacking between meals.

We need to snack in between meals because our bodies need the protein and carbohydrates to allow for energy release and muscle repair. Some healthy and nutrition packed ideas include:

  • Almonds and walnuts
  • Tuna
  • Protein shakes, protein balls, protein bars
  • Healthy dips with carrot and celery sticks
  • Greek yoghurt with berries

These snacks should be eaten in between breakfast and lunch, and lunch and dinner, to ensure you are not filling up on higher calorie, fat and sugar options.
