I see it all too often, people do weight training all week on the upper body, but the poor legs get neglected by so many. You know the image, the guy in the gym with upper body to match any body builder but the legs unfortunately are vastly disproportionate.
Resistance training for your legs is so important for so many reasons. These include:
- The more leg muscle you have , the more calories your body will burn whilst resting
- Stronger legs will better protect your knees during contact sport
- Creates a body that looks much more symmetrical
- Increases your strength for general everyday tasks
Remember to never skip legs day.
