Personal Training and Exercise Physiology through the NDIS in Wollongong

If you are living with a permanent and significant disability and would like to improve your physical health, Chodat Fitness may be able to support your goals through your NDIS plan.

We offer personal training and exercise physiology services that may be claimable under the NDIS when these supports are clearly linked to your approved plan goals and delivered by suitably qualified professionals, such as personal trainers working under the guidance of allied health practitioners or exercise physiologists.

What is NDIS?

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is a government-funded initiative that provides support to individuals with a permanent and significant disability. The aim is to invest early to help participants achieve better outcomes and live more independent and active lives.

NDIS funding is based on a participant’s stated goals. These may include health, fitness, or community participation objectives. Where fitness support is reasonable and necessary to help achieve those goals—and delivered by appropriately qualified providers—it may be included in your funding.

Accessing NDIS-Funded Fitness Services at Chodat Fitness

If your plan includes goals around improving strength, mobility, physical activity, or mental well-being, you may be able to use your NDIS funding to access our fitness services.

We can support participants who are Self-Managed or Plan-Managed. If you are unsure whether our services can be claimed through your plan, we are happy to discuss this with you or your support coordinator.
