Jack West

Qualifications:

Certificate lll Fitness

Certificate lV Fitness

First Aid and CPR

Experience:

Originally from country Orange NSW and living on a farm Jack comes from a active lifestyle! He played competitive Rugby League locally from a young age  then was selected to play with the Newcastle Knights in the under 16’s Harold Matthews Competition. However, Being at a young age and having deep country roots as well as family commitments, I turned down the offer.
At the age of 18, after doing an ECG fitness test for Rugby League Pre-season, I was told that my season and possibly career had ended after I had experienced an irregular heart murmur’s and unexplained palpation. I had to have immediate heart surgery and therefore I missed the season and most of my year 12 and HSC experience.
Going through this experience has only fuelled my passion for health and fitness because it has shown me that being healthy and having a moving and functioning body shouldn’t be taken for granted and we should continually work to better ourselves.

Sporting Interest: football, swimming, lifting weights
