Sport Specific and Sprint Coaching for Athletes

Chodat Fitness coaches provide Illawarra’s leading coaching programs and sessions. These sessions improve the athletes speed, acceleration, power and technique for athletic distances and ball sports. One on one personal training for athletes in this field is also available.

All our sprint coaches are ex-athletes that have had many years of experience in sprinting, ball sports or athletic backgrounds. Having competed as children all the way through to senior ranks, they will be able to give you child the competitive edge both physically and mentally.

Team & Group Speed Performance Coaching

At Chodat Fitness, we offer dedicated speed and agility coaching for teams and sporting groups who want to elevate their on-field performance. Our coaches work directly with clubs to develop athletes’ speed mechanics, footwork precision, and overall strength and conditioning, using methods grounded in athletic science.

Through targeted sprint-technique refinement, acceleration drills, reactive agility work, and progressive load management, we help athletes move more efficiently, confidently, and explosively. Whether your team is preparing for competition, building pre-season foundations, or refining in-season performance, our tailored group sessions ensure every athlete gains improved running form, sharper directional change, and the physical resilience required for high-demand sport.

These classes are designed for children of school age and held on the synthetic athletics track at Beaton Park Leisure Centre. The class duration is 1 hour—enabling children to build confidence and encourage healthy competition where they can benefit from training together under the guidance of their coaches advice.

In our sessions, children, apart from the specialist training and programming, will be learning how to manage event preparation, harness their skills and let their talent shine.

Prices & Membership

Booking for Multiple Children

For parents/carers with two or more children wanting to book in and buy/manage children’s accounts, you can not use the app.

Please use our website via a browser and follow these step to set up correctly:

  1. First create an account for the parent/carer
  2. Once created, access the INFO tab and add children
  3. To book into a class, access the CLASSES tab, and select the date and class you want them to attend
  4. Select the child to book in and follow the prompts

* If you are buying the sibling package for 2 or 3 kids; book and buy for one child and process the payment. Then go back and book the additional kids in to the class- it wont ask for further payment.

Membership

Children can trial one class before securing membership, this can be paid as a casual visit.

* Children are to pay a track entry fee to the Beaton Park Leisure Centre at front desk before each class, usage cards are also available at the centre, enquire at the front desk.
