Group Classes Starting on May 18th

As of 18th May 2020, we will be recommencing our group classes outside. Following the re opening plan as per the government’s information released last week, we will be holding our regular Group Fitness Classes at South Beach Wollongong site licence area with a maximum of 10 people in one gathering.

The Fine Details

Group Outdoor Classes:

  • All members Group Class packages will be reactivated as of Monday 18th.
  • Our TIMETABLE has a list of all our classes re commencing, starting with the 6am session Monday morning 18th May.
  • There will be No Boxing due to social distancing guidelines and in lieu of this class there will be a temporary new class ‘BODYFIX’.
  • The Ripped 6am class we normally have in the Gym at UniActive will be moved to outside at Innovation Campus.
  • It is a requirement that all members SIGN IN to their class the day before. We will be limiting each gathering to 10 people, this is including the trainer. We will assign two trainers if we have more than the 10 people, there fore we need to know total attendees, well prior to the start of the class.
  • We have sanitiser and cleaning equipment to clean your exercise gear before and after use.

Sprint Training:

  • All members Sprint Training Class packages will be reactivated as of Monday 18th.
  • Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 4pm for all classes. Please note the Monday class is starting at 4pm NOT 5:30pm.
  • Beaton Park is still closed, classes will be held on the field at North Dalton Park. Park in the car park at the Cricket Club and walk across the foot bridge to meet the trainer.
  • It is a requirement that all members SIGN IN to their class the day before. We will be limiting each gathering to 10 people, this is including the trainer. We will assign two trainers if we have more than the 10 people, there fore we need to know total attendees, well prior to the start of the class.

Personal Training:

The below options are still relevant as per our announcement in April.

Option 1: Train Outside

  •  Train outdoors, at Innovation Campus
  • Other outside locations are – South Beach Wollongong or Campus East Oval
Option 2: Online Programming 
  •  Online programming which has 2 potential options
  1.  Two training programs written by your trainer, based on your at home workout equipment +  a end of week phone call follow up. Charged at 1 PT session from your package.
  2.  Five training programs, weekly program written by your trainer. This is the whole week mapped out +  a end of week phone call follow up. Charged at 2 PT sessions from your package.
Option 3: Virtual Personal Training 
If you know you’ll miss your trainers face and don’t want to leave home, this is the option for you.
  • Virtual training, via FaceTime, Skype or Facebook Inbox private call (what ever works for you and your trainer) where you and your trainer are face to face for the duration of your session 60, 45, 30 mins. Your trainer will assess what exercise equipment you have at home and you can keep your regular session times that suit you and your trainer.  Charged at 1 PT session from your package.
