What is Low Intensity Fitness?
Low-intensity training is when you work out at approximately 50%–70% of your maximum heart rate for a steady and sustained period — typically for around 10–60 minutes. You should be able to hold a conversation while completing a low-intensity workout without being completely out of breath.
Low-intensity cardio training can also be low impact and provide all the cardiovascular benefits of exercise without placing stress on your joints.
