Move to lose
It’s a very simple equation – when it comes to losing weight, the more you move, the more calories you burn.
Whether you have a very physical job, train everyday or play competitive sport, calories don’t discriminate.
If you are finding you are wanting to lose a few extra kilos and are very time poor, here are a few ideas to try and get the calorie burn in your favour:
Opt for a stand-up station at work instead of a sit-down desk.
Park further away from your office/ place of work to burn more calories.
Ride your bike to work.
Walk for work meetings instead of meeting over coffee.
Start every day with three minutes of exercise doing one minute of push-ups, squats and prone holds.
Always use the stairs instead of escalators.
