Fitness Tips for a No Gym Workout

You have a dilemma, you want to workout and get your muscles moving but are away from your gym, what to do?

Body weight exercises are a great way to activate muscle fibres when you have no equipment, all you need is a small space on a flat floor and away you go!

Some of the best body weight exercises that work muscles from head to toe include:

  • Push Ups (chest, triceps and shoulders)
  • Prone Hold (abdominal and lower back)
  • Squats (quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings)
  • Lunges (quadriceps, glutes and hamstrings)
  • Crunches (abdominal)

These are just some of the exercises that can be performed without equipment. It is ideal to work these movements to fatigue (cant do anymore) for 4-5 sets to ensure you are getting a similar effect to your gym workout.
