A lot of people look at aiming to improve the size, shape or strength of their Glute muscles, commonly known as your buttocks.
These Gluteal muscles are a group of three muscles :
- Gluteus Maximus
- Gluteus Minimus
- Gluteus Medius
The best exercises to improve the size, strength and shape of your Glutes include:
- Walking and static lunges, performed with either your body weight or added weight such as a dumbbell or barbell
- Squats
- Glute bridging exercises, side leg raises and theraband exercises
- Dead Lifts
- Step Ups and stair running
- Sprinting and Hill Sprinting
These strength and cardio based movements aim to not only strengthen your Gluteal muscles, they will shape and tone this area aswell.
