To Supplement or Not?

As trainers we get asked this question a lot, ‘what supplements should I take’?

Everything from multi vitamins, to protein powders to pre and post workouts supplements stores are awash with so many potions and lotions it’s hard to know what is good, and what is a waste of time and money.

It all depends on what your goal is? If you are looking at bulking up protein is essential. If you are looking at doing endurance events amino acids and recovery powders are needed and for your general sports you can’t go past a good multi vitamin.

Always take caution and read about the products you are buying, some have harsh effects on your body and are not always what they claim to be.
